The Josita Kavege Foundation is offering a grant of 250,000 CFA francs to the Togovi bé sourire association on August 27, 2024.
This action is part of the program to support the social commitment of young people in order to increase their interest in voluntary and humanitarian work.
With this in mind, the Togovi bé sourire association has been awarded an incentive grant to support its ACTION TRESOR initiative dedicated to underprivileged children in the village of Zooti N’titikope.
The Togovi bé sourire association is committed to promoting access to quality education for vulnerable young people in rural areas. At the start of each school year, it organizes recreational activities followed by the distribution of school kits to children in rural areas.
The Foundation’s grant enabled 30 of the village’s best pupils to receive school kits. These kits were handed over to the pupils on Saturday August 31, 2024, during the commemoration of African Children’s Day organized by the Togovi bé sourire association. The event was an opportunity for the association to raise awareness among parents of the importance of children’s education.
In line with its intervention strategy, the Foundation will follow up to ensure that the grant is used appropriately. Depending on the results, the Foundation may provide further support, such as helping to raise the profile of the association (increasing its visibility nationally and internationally), and putting the association in touch with other players who can support it in other ways.
